Every Racing Game on PlayTundra, Sorted by How You Control It
The racing section holds games with very different control layouts. At one end, Tug Pull Crash Challenge needs a single held key. At the other, Grand City Stunts gives each of two players five separate functions: drive, nitro, look back, respawn and handbrake. Between them sit bike games where the left and right keys lean the rider instead of steering, a game that drives forward with the Tab key, and a car that honks on H.
This page sorts 45 of those games by the thing you notice first when the game loads: which keys it wants and how many people it expects at the keyboard. Each group has a table with the keys listed on the game's own page and the one detail that sets it apart according to the developer's description. The control references were matched against the developer's listing using each game's distribution ID, the 32-character code the game is served from, rather than by title. Where our page and the developer's listing disagreed, this guide follows the developer's listing. One racing game, Truck Parking 2, is left out because the developer description attached to its distribution ID describes a different parking game, so there is nothing reliable to quote.
1. Two players, one keyboard, with nitro and camera keys
These are the open-map stunt and city games. Each player gets a movement set plus extra keys, usually nitro and either a camera or a look-back key. Most of them also have a free-driving map next to their timed levels.

| Night City Racing | Solo: W A S D or arrows, Left or Right Shift NOS, T look back, C camera, R resets the car. Two players: P1 arrows with M for NOS, P2 W A S D | 10 super-sport cars, customizable on both the engine and the visual side; 1-player or 2-player mode |
| MTB DownHill Extreme | P1: W A S D, Space front brake, S rear brake, C camera, R reset. P2: arrow keys, Right Shift front brake, Down rear brake, O camera, P reset | Four mountain bikes; 1-player and 2-player modes |
Which side of the keyboard is Player 1?
This group does not agree on it, and it matters when two people sit down. In City Bike Stunt 2, Two Bike Stunts, Port Bike Stunt, Sky City Riders, the two City Car Stunt games, Fly Car Stunt 5 and the two-player mode of Night City Racing, Player 1 is on the arrow keys and Player 2 is on W A S D. In Grand City Stunts, Ultimate Flying Car and MTB DownHill Extreme it is the other way round. The extra keys follow the same split. In the arrow-key-first games Player 1's nitro is N, right beside the arrows, and Player 2's is T, above W A S D.
How they differ beyond the keys
The bike games split by setting. Port Bike Stunt is the strictest, because its developer gives you 5 lives per level on a container road with traps. Sky City Riders is the one with the shortest key list, just movement and nitro, and its unlocks are cosmetic skins. Two Bike Stunts and City Bike Stunt 2 lean on collecting, coins in one and diamonds in the other, to open locked bikes and upgrades. Among the cars, City Car Stunt 3 stands out for the mini-games on its free map, and Fly Car Stunt 5 and Ultimate Flying Car both leave the ground. Grand City Stunts is the only one here whose developer says computer racers are always on the track with you. MTB DownHill Extreme is the only game on this page with separate front and rear brakes. For Player 1 the rear brake is S, the same key as backward movement in W A S D.
2. Two players, movement keys only
If the keys in group 1 are too much for a quick match, these games give each player little more than a direction set. They are the closest racing gets to the one-key idea in our two-player, one-keyboard guide.
| Game | Keys listed on its page | What is distinctive (per the developer) |
|---|---|---|
| Pixel Kart | P1: A and D to steer. P2: Left and Right arrows. Touch on touch devices | Retro pixel karts; every race is five laps |
| Car Madness 3D | P1: arrow keys. P2: W A S D | Mini cars; Quick Race on a random track or a 10-race Season; obstacles and black holes; a quality setting on the gear button for slow computers |
| 2D Car Racing | P1: W A S D, T for power-ups. P2: arrow keys, P for power-ups | Power-ups include nitrous, maces and missiles; coins from races buy new cars |
| Low Poly Car Racing | P1: W A S D. P2: arrow keys | Split screen on one computer; build your own track and save it to 3 slots; 3 game modes |
| Mountain Climb Racing | P1: W A S D. P2: arrow keys | Hills and mountains with obstacles; race a friend or the CPU; first to the finish wins |
| Dirt Bike Racing Duel | P1: W and S gas and brake, A and D balance. P2: Up and Down gas and brake, Left and Right balance | Levels across seven continents; reach the finish without crashing; a shop for new bikes and upgrades |
| Dirt Bike Max Duel | P1: W A S D (or arrows in single player). P2: arrow keys | Two-player duels either against time or to a set number of round wins; new bikes after earning money |
Pixel Kart has the smallest layout on this page, two steering keys per player, and its developer fixes the race length at five laps. 2D Car Racing adds one key each for power-ups, and it is the only game in this group with weapons like maces and missiles. Low Poly Car Racing is the one to pick if you want split screen or your own track. Car Madness 3D is the only one with a set season, ten races long. The two dirt bike duels are where balance comes in: the side keys tip the bike rather than steer it, so they belong with the lean-key bikes in group 5 as much as here. Dirt Bike Max Duel is the one with a choice of how a duel is decided.
3. One player, plain driving keys
These games ask for W A S D or the arrow keys and almost nothing else, which makes them the easiest racing games to start on a laptop.
| Game | Keys listed on its page | What is distinctive (per the developer) |
|---|---|---|
| Grand Prix Hero | Arrow keys or W A S D; touch to steer on mobile | A Grand Prix Series across multiple continents; dodge traffic, boost, upgrade the car with coins |
| Stock Car Hero | Arrow keys or W A S D; touch to steer on mobile | A Stock Car Series across North America; boost around banked corners |
| Superbike Hero | Arrow keys or W A S D; touch to steer on mobile | A Superbike Series across Europe and the Middle East; hang-on around tight corners |
| Super Traffic Racer | Arrow keys; touch the screen on mobile | Endless racing through highway traffic; earn cash to upgrade or buy cars; global leaderboards |
| Highway Racers | W A S D or arrow keys | Race through traffic collecting cash and power-ups |
| MR RACER: Car Racing | W or Up accelerate, S or Down brake, A or Left and D or Right steer, H horn | 100 levels in Challenge Mode, unlimited Chase Mode, a Career Race Mode; 15 supercars to upgrade and paint |
| Go Kart Racing Game | W or Up forward, S or Down reverse, A D or Left Right steer; mouse for menu buttons | Kart races against opponents with obstacles and rewards; unlock new karts |
| Slope Racing | W A S D or arrow keys | Drive down slopes collecting coins that buy cars or new environments such as a desert |
| Snowfall Racing Championship | W A S D or arrow keys | Race some of the "most furious and fastest sports cars" to become champion |
| Crazy Buggy Demolition Derby | W A S D | An arena derby: cars start facing opposite directions and the last car standing wins |
| Mega Ramp Stunt Racing 3D | W A S D or arrow keys; touch controls on mobile | Massive ramps and obstacles; play alone or in a 2-player mode |
The three Hero games share one control line, word for word, on the developer's side, so the choice between them is the vehicle and the region. Stock Car Hero has banked corners, Superbike Hero has hang-on cornering, and Grand Prix Hero spans the most continents. Super Traffic Racer is the only game in this table with no end, and the only one that lists the arrow keys without a W A S D alternative. MR RACER has the most structure here, with three modes and a level count of 100. It also has the one non-driving key, H for the horn. Crazy Buggy Demolition Derby is not a race to a line at all; you win by wrecking everyone else, and it lists W A S D only. Mega Ramp Stunt Racing 3D is listed by its developer with a 2-player mode, but its control line names a single key set, so it sits here rather than in group 2.
4. One player, with nitro, camera and handbrake keys
These single-player games add function keys on top of driving. The most common extras are a nitro key and a camera key.
| Game | Keys listed on its page | What is distinctive (per the developer) |
|---|---|---|
| Drift City | W A S D or arrows, Space handbrake, F nitro, C camera, L lights | Earn drift points to buy cars, 6 in total; 30 achievements; timed drift bonuses in the city; 4 cameras |
| Neon City Drift Racing | W or Up accelerate, S or Down brake and reverse, A D or Left Right steer, Space or Shift nitro, Enter to start | Night-time drifting through neon city streets; chain slides for rewards; on-screen brake and nitro on touch |
| Urban Derby: Stunt & Drift | Arrow keys, Space brake, F nitro, C camera, Esc or Tab to pause | Stunts and coins to unlock vehicles; roam the map freely |
| Russian Taz Driving 2 | W A S D, Space brake, C camera | Many different Russian cars to drive and drift on big city streets |
| Bus Crash Stunts 2 | W A S D, F nitro, C camera, B view back | A bus in a demolition arena; the bus can lose parts and break apart completely; money unlocks more vehicles |
| Car Eats Car: Winter Adventure | W gas, S brake, A D balance, X turbo, Space bombs; arrow keys as an alternative | Overtake and fight rival cars; build your own car in the incubator; police chases and a boss |
| Car Eats Car: Dungeon Adventure | Same keys as Winter Adventure | The developer uses the same description as Winter Adventure: rivals, the incubator, police and a boss |
The two drift games differ in what the extra keys are for. Drift City is the only game on this page with a headlight key, and its developer lists hard numbers: 30 achievements, 6 cars and 4 camera views. Neon City Drift Racing doubles up its nitro on Space or Shift and is the only game here that uses Enter to start. Urban Derby is the one to pick for driving with no fixed route, since its developer stresses roaming the map. Bus Crash Stunts 2 is about destruction rather than speed. The two Car Eats Car games are the only racers here with a weapon key, Space for bombs, and their A and D keys balance the car in the air rather than steer it. Their developer descriptions are identical apart from the title, so the difference between them is the setting in the name.
5. Bikes where left and right mean lean
In these solo bike games, Up and Down (or W and S) are throttle and brake, and the side keys tilt the rider. That is a different skill from steering a car, and the landing matters as much as the speed.
| Game | Keys listed on its page | What is distinctive (per the developer) |
|---|---|---|
| Dirt Bike Racing Adventure | W or Up accelerate, S or Down brake and reverse, A D or Left Right balance, Left Shift boost; mouse or touch for menus | Motocross tracks with steep hills and gaps; balance through jumps and land smoothly for faster times |
| Bike Rush Xtreme | W speed up, S slow down, A and D lean while turning, Space hard brake | Canyon trails; you start on a second-hand bike and race your way up |
| Dirt Bikes Rally | Tab to move forward, arrow keys to move left and right | Physics-based stunt bikes; flips and jumps; beat your ghost runs, collect medals, unlock bikes |
Bike Rush Xtreme is the only one with a dedicated hard-brake key separate from slowing down. Dirt Bike Racing Adventure has a boost on Left Shift. Dirt Bikes Rally has the most unusual layout in the whole racing section, with Tab as the throttle. That puts your left hand on the edge of the keyboard and your right hand on the arrows.
The four Moto X3M games also belong in this group. Their developer listings describe arrow-key control, and Moto X3M Original adds Space to respawn at the last checkpoint. The others are Moto X3M Winter, Moto X3M Pool Party and Moto X3M Halloween. The differences between the four are covered in detail in our Moto X3M series guide, so we do not repeat them here.
6. One button, or mouse only
Two racing games skip steering entirely. Snow Ball Race runs on a click or tap alone, and Tug Pull Crash Challenge accepts a held mouse button in place of a key. For more games of this type, see our mouse-only games guide.
| Game | Input listed on its page | What is distinctive (per the developer) |
|---|---|---|
| Snow Ball Race | Mouse click or tap | Roll a snowball that grows as it collects snow; avoid obstacles and pick the best path to finish with the largest snowball |
| Tug Pull Crash Challenge | Hold Space, W, Up or Right arrow to pull, or hold the left mouse button anywhere on the game; release to ease the engine | Car tug-of-war: pull your rival toward crushers while managing engine heat; upgrade wheels and body parts; unlock new worlds |
The skill in Tug Pull Crash Challenge is knowing when to let go, because its developer ties releasing the button to engine heat. Snow Ball Race is a route-choice game in which the snowball's size at the finish is the score.

How this page was put together
We did not rank these games by playing them, and this page does not claim lap times or results. It lines up facts already on the 45 game pages: the controls, the modes and the unlocks. Those facts were checked against the developer's listing for each game's distribution ID. Where one of our pages said something the developer's listing did not support, this guide follows the developer's listing. Each embed was also re-checked from a server in the United States on the date shown at the top. If a game changes, its entry here will be updated when its page is.
