About Pixel Kart
Pixel Kart is a deliberately old-looking kart racer: chunky pixel cars, a top-down track, and races that run to five laps. There is no drift meter, no upgrade tree and no currency — you steer, you hold your line, and whoever makes fewer mistakes over five laps wins.
The two-player layout is unusually light: each player needs only two keys, so both of you can sit comfortably at one keyboard without a control diagram taped to the desk.
How to play
Player 1 steers with A and D, Player 2 steers with the left and right arrow keys. Your kart accelerates on its own, so the whole race is about the racing line. Complete five laps before your opponent to win. Touch controls work on phones and tablets.
Controls
- Player 1 — A and D to steer
- Player 2 — Left and Right arrows to steer
- Five-lap races, touch supported
Tips to win
- Steer early into corners; correcting mid-turn scrubs far more speed than turning wide.
- Hold the inside line only when you are ahead — defending it from behind just slows you both.
- Five laps is long enough to recover from one mistake, but not two.
