About Stock Car Hero
Stock Car Hero puts you in the Stock Car Series, racing at tracks across North America. Each race asks you to dodge traffic, boost around banked corners and collect coins along the way.
Between races, you spend those coins upgrading your car for the next event, so every race feeds into the one after it as you work toward becoming the Stock Car Hero. Controls are simple: the arrow keys or WASD on desktop, touch to steer on mobile.

This is a traffic game wearing a racing game's clothes. Stock Car Hero asks you to dodge traffic as much as it asks you to go fast. The cars around you are the main obstacle, and the skill being tested is choosing a path early enough that you never have to make a violent correction. Look as far up the track as the screen allows and your moves stop being emergencies.
Commit to a move, then finish it. The worst place to be is halfway through a move with traffic on both sides. When you decide to go around a car, go decisively rather than drifting across, and when a gap closes, pick a new one instead of hovering and hoping it reopens.
The banked corners are part of the plan. The game lets you boost around its banked corners. Think about where you want to be as you approach a corner so you can make the most of it, rather than arriving in a crowd of traffic with nowhere to go.
Coins are your upgrade budget. Every coin you collect goes toward upgrading your car for the next race. Grab the ones on your line, but never swerve into traffic for a single coin — a collision costs more than the coin is worth.
Steer with small inputs. On desktop the arrow keys or W A S D give you discrete taps, and short taps usually place the car more accurately than holding a key down. On mobile, steer with touch and keep your movements smooth.
Recover rather than panic. After a knock, the instinct is to rush to make the time back. That usually leads to a second mistake. Re-establish your line, pick a clear path, and settle back in; the race is still alive, and a calm recovery keeps it that way.
