About 2D Car Racing
2D Car Racing is retro top-down racing with a weapon rack: nitro for straights, plus maces and missiles you pick up on the track and fire at whoever is ahead. Coins from each race unlock new cars, which is the progression, but the reason to keep it open is the two-player mode.
Because the camera sees the whole track, neither player can hide, and power-ups turn a comfortable lead into a coin flip. That makes it a better shared-keyboard racer than most — the person in front is never safe, so nobody stops paying attention.
How to play
Player 1 drives with WASD and fires power-ups with T. Player 2 drives with the arrow keys and fires with P. Collect power-ups from the track as you pass over them, then spend race winnings on new cars in the garage.
Controls
- Player 1 — WASD to drive, T to use power-ups
- Player 2 — Arrow keys to drive, P to use power-ups
- Two players on one keyboard, unlockable cars
Tips to win
- Hold nitro for the longest straight, not the first one you reach.
- Fire weapons on a straight — a shot taken mid-corner almost always misses.
- Second place is the best place to be on the last lap. Let the leader eat the power-ups first.
