About Crazy Table Tennis
Crazy Table Tennis is a 2025 take on the oldest video game idea there is: a bat, a ball, and an opponent who is very hard to get past. It keeps the Pong skeleton but gives the ball table-tennis behaviour, so angle and contact point matter more than raw paddle speed.
The AI is the point of the game. It defends almost everything hit straight at it, which forces you to actually work an angle rather than trade returns. If you want the same sport with a second person instead of a computer, Neon Ping Pong takes two players on one keyboard.
How to play
Move your bat with WASD and meet the ball where you want it to leave. Contact point sets the angle: hitting near the edge sends it wide, hitting flat sends it straight back into the AI. Win the match by taking more points than the computer.
Controls
- W A S D — move the bat
- Single player against AI
Tips to win
- Never hit flat. A straight return is the one shot this AI always reaches.
- Move back to centre between shots; the AI punishes any lane you leave open.
- Meeting the ball early gives you a wider range of angles than letting it come to you.
