About Cubic Tennis
Cubic Tennis sets ordinary tennis in a blocky low-poly world and keeps the matches deliberately short: the first player to three wins takes it. Rallies are exchanges of placement rather than power, and the cube-shaped courts make the ball's bounce easy to read, which is more than can be said for most browser tennis.
It is a mouse-only game with nothing to configure, so it loads and plays immediately. If you want the same sport with an arcade twist instead of a straight match, Tennis Hero is the other end of the shelf.
How to play
Play with the mouse: move to position your player, and the swing happens as the ball arrives. Aim by where you meet the ball rather than by a separate button. Win three exchanges to take the match.
Controls
- Mouse — move and swing
- Single player, first to three wins
Tips to win
- Move to where the ball will land, then stop. Swinging while still moving pulls the shot wide.
- Alternate deep and short returns — repeating a length lets the opponent camp on it.
- Three points is a short match, so the first exchange is worth taking seriously.
