About Ski Legends

Ski Legends is a proper alpine skiing simulation rather than an endless runner with snow on it. You work through a career across a set of resorts, each with runs that step up from gentle beginner slopes to technical courses strewn with rocks, ice patches and deep snow that will each punish you in a different way.

Downhill and slalom are the two disciplines, and they want opposite things: downhill rewards holding a tuck and trusting the line, slalom rewards giving up speed early so you can carve a tighter gate. Collecting better skiers unlocks the harder resorts.

How to play

Steer with the left and right arrow keys or A and D, tuck to build speed on the straights, and ease off before gates and obstacles. Complete a run to unlock the next slope; the career progresses from easy resorts up to the technical ones.

Tips to win

• Brake before the gate, not in it — carving while already slow is far faster than scrubbing mid-turn.
• Ice removes your edge for about a second; steer before you reach it, not on it.
• Deep snow is slower than a wide line around it. Going straight is not always the fast route.
