About Pocket Tennis
Pocket Tennis is arcade tennis built around a single gesture: you swipe through the ball, and the direction and length of that swipe decide where it goes. There is no timing button and no shot menu, so the whole skill curve lives in how you draw the line — short flicks drop it in front, long pulls send it deep.
Rackets and balls unlock as you play, which is cosmetic more than mechanical, but the match structure holds up. It runs the same on a trackpad as on a touchscreen, which is not true of every game in this category.
How to play
On desktop, swipe with the mouse — hold the button and drag through the ball as it arrives. On a touchscreen, swipe with a finger. Direction and length of the swipe control placement and depth. Choose your racket and ball before the match starts.
Controls
- Mouse — hold and swipe to swing
- Touch — swipe on mobile
- Unlockable rackets and balls
Tips to win
- Swipe through the ball, not at it — a stroke that stops on contact loses most of its power.
- Short swipes are the drop shot. Use them once the opponent is standing deep.
- Set your position first; a good swipe from the wrong spot still goes out.
