Drunk Basket is active-ragdoll basketball, which means your player is never quite standing where you meant them to. You grab the ball, hold your key to charge a shot, and release inside the green zone to throw. The wobble is the game — a perfectly judged release still goes astray if your ragdoll is mid-stumble.

Each round throws in a random twist: low gravity, a giant ball, whatever it feels like. That puts it in the same tradition as Basket Random and Soccer Random — nobody gets to master the conditions, so a weaker player always has a chance.

How to play

Player 1 holds W to charge a shot and releases to throw; player 2 holds the up arrow key. On mobile, use the on-screen buttons instead. Move close to the ball to grab it, then release inside the green zone for a clean throw. Play solo against the AI or head-to-head with a friend on the same device.

Get to the ball before you think about shooting. Nothing happens in Drunk Basket until someone is close enough to grab the ball, so the first seconds of every round are a scramble. Your ragdoll lurches rather than runs, which means the player who starts moving toward the ball early and keeps the approach simple usually wins the grab.

Treat the charge as a hold-and-watch, not a guess. Player one holds W and player two holds the Up arrow, and letting go is the throw. The green zone is the target for the release. Watch the meter rather than your player, and let go when it sits in green. Releasing early out of panic is the single most common reason shots fall short or sail wide.

Expect the wobble to spoil some good releases. Because the players are physics-driven, a well-timed release can still go astray if your ragdoll is tipping at that moment. You cannot fully control that, so the practical answer is volume: get more clean attempts than your opponent rather than hunting for one perfect shot. A slightly rushed shot from a stable stance often beats a perfect release from a stumbling one.

Read the twist before the first throw of each round. Every round adds a random change, such as low gravity or an oversized ball, and it changes how much power a shot needs and how the ball moves. Spend a moment seeing what is different before you commit. Carrying the previous round's timing into new conditions is how easy points get thrown away.

Pick the mode that fits the moment. You can play solo against the AI or face a friend on the same device, one key each. The AI is a good place to learn the release timing without pressure. Against a friend, the randomness keeps matches close, so a trailing player should keep taking shots rather than give up; one lucky round can swing the score back.
