Skateboard City is an acrobatic skating game with a clean objective: collect all the stars on a course and the level is done. Simple enough — except each level gives you exactly one life, so a fall from a high section sends you back to the start with nothing to show for the run.

That single-life rule turns what looks like a casual kids' skate game into a careful one. You learn each drop, decide which stars are worth the risk, and treat the tricks as style rather than obligation. A freestyle mode is listed as coming later.

How to play

Press the right arrow to start skating, then steer with the arrow keys. Z and X perform tricks and the space bar jumps. Collect every star on the course to finish the level, and watch your footing on the higher sections — you get one life per level, and falling means starting that level over.

Tips to win

• Clear the ground-level stars first — bank the safe ones before risking the high line.
• Jump before the edge, not on it; the board carries you further than it looks.
• Tricks score style but cost control — skip them on the sections that keep killing your run.
