About Fish Soccer
Fish Soccer is exactly what the name promises — soccer, underwater, played by fish. Two players share the keyboard, each steering a fish around the tank in pursuit of the ball, with a bonus button that adds the wildcard element every good same-keyboard game needs.
It is bright, quick and completely undemanding, which makes it a good pick for the space between longer games. There is a single-player mode against the CPU if your usual opponent is not around.
How to play
Player 1 swims with W A S D and triggers their bonus with T; Player 2 uses the arrow keys with P for their bonus. Steer your fish into the ball to push it toward the opposing goal, and save the bonus for a moment when it actually changes the situation. There is a one-player mode against the CPU too.
Controls
- Player 1 — W A S D move, T bonus
- Player 2 — Arrow keys move, P bonus
- Single-player vs CPU supported
Tips to win
- Approach the ball from behind rather than side-on — you push it further that way.
- Hold your bonus until the ball is near their goal; wasting it in midfield achieves nothing.
- Stay slightly goal-side of the ball so a loose bounce does not run straight past you.
