About Ragdoll Soccer
Ragdoll Soccer is a physics soccer game with an unusual twist: your player hangs from a rope you can release at will, so every attack is a decision about when to let go and commit. Get it right and you swing into the ball with real force; get it wrong and you are a pile of limbs in your own half.
There is a single-player puzzle mode that teaches the swing, but the two-player match is the reason to open it — both of you on the same keyboard, both of you falling apart, one of you eventually scoring.
How to play
Player 1 moves with W A S D and releases the launch rope with the space bar; Player 2 moves with the arrow keys and releases with L. Build momentum on the rope, then release at the top of the swing to fire yourself at the ball. Stay in one piece and put it in the far goal.
Controls
- Player 1 — W A S D move, Space release rope
- Player 2 — Arrow keys move, L release rope
- Single-player puzzle mode included
Tips to win
- Release at the top of the swing, not the bottom — that is where the momentum is.
- Do not chase the ball; swing to where it will drop and let it come to you.
- Falling apart is recoverable, so an aggressive swing near their goal is usually worth it.
