Egg Challenge is a race to land ten eggs in a basket, and its real selling point is the player count: it supports three people on one keyboard, which almost nothing else on this site does. Player one takes W, player two takes J, player three takes the up arrow, and everyone throws at once.

Solo, you pick a time limit and try to get all ten in before it runs out. With two or three, there is no timer — just whoever gets to ten first. It is the game to open when there is one keyboard and more than two people wanting a turn.

How to play

Player 1 presses W, player 2 presses J and player 3 presses the up arrow. Press your key to throw an egg into the basket. In single player, choose a time limit and try to land ten eggs before it runs out; in two or three player mode, the first to get ten eggs in the basket wins.

It supports one, two or three players on the same keyboard. Player one uses W, player two uses J and player three uses the up arrow, so three people can crowd around a single laptop.

Single player is a race against the clock. On your own, you choose a time limit before starting and then try to land all ten eggs inside it. Starting with a generous limit lets you learn how the throw behaves without stress. Once you are comfortable, pick a shorter time to push yourself. It is also the best way to warm up before challenging friends.

Multiplayer is a straight race to ten. In two and three player modes, the winner is simply the first to get ten eggs into the basket before the others. Everyone is pressing at the same time, which makes it loud and chaotic. The important thing is to keep your own focus rather than getting distracted by how your friends are doing.

Keep your hand on your own key. With three players at one keyboard, space can get tight. Before the countdown ends, make sure everyone knows which key belongs to them and has a comfortable hand position. Accidentally pressing the wrong key, or getting bumped, is the easiest way to fall behind in a close race.

Stay consistent from the first egg to the tenth. A good start helps, but races are often decided in the final few throws when players tense up. Keep the same steady approach you used at the beginning and do not change what is working. Play a few rounds, swap seats if one position feels awkward, and enjoy one of the few games that suits three players.
