About Table Pong

Moving back towards the middle of your side after each return gives you the best chance of reaching wherever the next ball goes. It is the simplest habit to build and one of the most useful.
Watch your opponent as well as the ball. In any table tennis game, where your opponent is standing tells you which parts of the table they can and cannot cover. Try to send your returns towards the open space instead of straight back at them. And since you are playing against a friend, swap key sets now and then so neither of you is stuck on the side you like less.
