About Air Hockey Glow
Air Hockey Glow is air hockey rendered in neon: a dark table, glowing edges, and a puck that leaves a trail behind it. Two players share the same screen, each dragging their own paddle, and the speed of the drag is what determines how hard the puck comes off it — so a gentle block and a full-power slam are the same gesture at different speeds.
It plays like ice hockey compressed to two paddles and one puck, and it is the sort of game a table-side rivalry forms around in about ninety seconds. There are computer opponents too if there is nobody sitting next to you.
How to play
Each player drags their own paddle around their half of the table with a finger or the mouse. How fast you are moving when you make contact is how hard the puck is struck, so wind up for a slam and slow down for a controlled block. Get the puck into the opposing goal; first to the score target takes the game.
Controls
- Drag your paddle — mouse or touch, one per player
- Offline 2-player on the same device
- Computer opponents supported
Tips to win
- Meet the puck moving forward — a stationary paddle absorbs the shot instead of returning it.
- Bank shots off the side walls; straight slams are the easiest thing in the game to block.
- Sit back near your goal by default and only step up when the puck is genuinely loose.
