WormRoyale.io takes the familiar worm arena and runs it as a battle royale: the field thins out as players are eliminated, and the last worm moving takes the round. Growth still comes from eating, but survival is what the scoring actually rewards.
Controls are mouse only, which makes it one of the easier io games to pick up on a school laptop — there is nothing to configure and no keyboard layout to learn.
How to play
Steer with the mouse and click to boost. Boosting costs length, so use it to cut a rival off rather than to travel. Crossing another worm ends your run, so give crowded areas a wide berth until the field thins.

Tips to win
- Circle rather than chase. Cutting a line in front of a rival works; following one never does.
- Stay on the outside early. The middle is where most early eliminations happen.
- Boost in short taps — a long boost costs length you will not get back before the next fight.
