About Masked Forces: Dark Forest
Masked Forces: Dark Forest is the fantasy entry in the Masked Forces line. You rejoin the elite masked unit, but instead of the usual military maps the setting is a dark forest and the opposition is a range of monsters rather than rival soldiers. The shooting model is the same first-person setup the series uses, with a loadout you cycle through on the number keys.
Movement carries more weight here than in the arena maps — a slide on Shift and a jump on Space let you break away from anything that closes distance. If you want the standard version of the series, Masked Forces and Masked Forces: Crazy Mode are both on the site.
How to play
Move with WASD or the arrow keys and aim with the mouse. Left click fires, the number keys switch between the weapons you are carrying, Shift slides and Space jumps. Work through the forest, deal with whatever comes at you, and use the slide to break away when something gets close.

Tips to win
- Build the slide into muscle memory early. Backing away in a straight line is the slowest way to create space.
- Switch weapons on the number keys rather than scrolling — in a close fight the scroll wheel costs you the exchange.
- Use the trees. Breaking line of sight resets a bad fight far more reliably than trying to out-shoot it.
