Wormania.io is the multiplayer worm arena with one addition that changes how it plays: power-ups. Gems still make you longer, but the pickups scattered around the map give you speed or the ability to cut another worm in half outright.

That makes positioning matter more than in the plain version — a power-up on the map is worth taking a risk for, and a rival who just grabbed one is worth avoiding for a few seconds.

How to play

Steer with the mouse and press the mouse button to boost. Eat gems to grow. Watch for the power-up icons on the map: speed lets you close a cut-off, and the cutting power-up turns a losing chase into a win.

Wormania.io is a multiplayer worm arena where eating gems makes you longer, but the pickups are what set it apart: power-ups give you speed or let you cut other worms in half. That means size alone does not decide fights. A small worm with the right pickup can take a big one apart.

Controls. Move the mouse to steer and press the mouse button to boost. Because steering follows the pointer, keep the cursor a steady distance ahead of the head; wild movements make the worm snake unpredictably in tight spaces.

Reading the map. Keep an eye on where the power-ups are and who is heading for them. A rival who has just picked one up is dangerous for a short time, and the best response is usually to give them room. Likewise, when you grab one yourself, use it at once on the nearest opportunity rather than saving it and getting caught first.

Growing safely. Gems are everywhere, and early on the safest growth is simply eating along the quiet edges. When a worm is cut down it leaves a trail of food, and that trail attracts everyone nearby. Arrive a moment later than the crowd and collect the tail end once the danger has moved on.

Common mistakes. The biggest is assuming a long worm is safe. Length makes you slower to turn and easier to cut off, and the cutting power-up ignores size. The second is boosting across open ground with nothing to gain, which leaves you with nothing when a real opening appears.
