About CarHit.io
CarHit.io is car sumo. Everyone is on one platform, nobody has a weapon, and the only way to score is to shove someone else over the edge while staying on yourself.
The escalation is what keeps rounds tense: each car you knock out raises your own hit power, so a player on a streak becomes genuinely dangerous. Coming back from behind means picking off the smaller cars before the leader reaches you.
How to play
Turn with the Left and Right arrow keys, or steer by holding down the left mouse button. Aim at the side of a rival rather than the front — a side hit transfers far more of your momentum and is how most knockouts happen.

Tips to win
- Hit from the side. A head-on charge usually bounces both cars back toward the middle.
- Stay off the rim when you are not attacking — the edge is where you get punished for a miss.
- Target whoever is already near an edge rather than the biggest threat in the middle.

Car sumo with a snowball. CarHit.io puts every player on one platform, and the only way to score is to push other cars off the edge. Each car you throw out raises your hit power, so the game snowballs: a player with a few knockouts hits noticeably harder than someone who has just arrived. Knowing who is on a streak is as important as driving well.
Steering. The Left and Right arrow keys turn your car, or you can steer by holding the left mouse button. Your car keeps moving, so the skill is in the angle you meet other cars at rather than in speed control. Pick one steering method and stay with it; switching mid-round is a common way to fumble a turn near the edge.
Angles win. A glancing side hit transfers much more of your push than a head-on bump, which tends to bounce both cars back toward the middle. Line up so that you meet a rival from the side and the edge is behind them, not behind you.
Where to be. The rim of the platform is dangerous for everyone. When you are not attacking, drift back toward the centre so a miss does not send you over. Pick targets who are already near an edge — they need only a small push.
Handling a strong player. Because hit power grows with every knockout, a leader can bump you off from a surprising distance. Avoid meeting them head on and let them spend their aggression on others. Picking off smaller cars builds your own power until you can compete.
Common mistakes. Chasing a car across the whole platform, and charging straight at someone who is already turning to meet you.
