About Ragdoll Gangs

Ragdoll Gangs is a floppy-physics brawler with two distinct halves. Adventure Mode is a solo run through six levels with different objectives — straight fights, ring-outs where you shove an enemy off a platform, and a few setups in between. Arena Mode is the one people come back for: pick single player against a genuinely awkward CPU, or hand the other half of the keyboard to a friend.

Because the characters are ragdolls, nothing lands the way you planned. Punches swing the whole body, kicks leave you off balance, and half the knockouts come from a stumble rather than a hit. It is the same slapstick that makes the rest of our two-player shelf work, with a proper move list underneath it.

How to play

Player 1 moves with W, A, S and D, punches with V, kicks with B, picks up or throws with C, and runs with left Shift. Player 2 uses the arrow keys with O to punch, P to kick, I to pick up or throw, and right Shift to run. In Arena Mode the first player to score three wins takes the match. L locks and unlocks the cursor and P pauses.

Ragdoll Gangs strategy guide

Ragdoll physics rewards patience, not mashing. Every attack in Ragdoll Gangs moves your own body as much as your opponent. A punch rotates your torso, a kick lifts you onto one leg, and a run-in swing sends you sprawling if it misses. Two players mashing at the same time mostly cancel each other out and fall over together. The player who throws one committed attack, recovers balance, and throws again wins far more exchanges than the one holding every key down.

Kick to open, punch to finish. The kick has noticeably more reach and more knockback than the punch, which makes it the right tool from outside contact range — it either connects or pushes them away, and both outcomes are fine. The punch is faster and recovers quicker, so it is what you want once you are already inside their guard and standing upright. Reversing those two is the most common beginner mistake.

Learn the grab before anything else. The pick up and throw key is the closest thing this game has to a guaranteed win condition. On the Adventure Mode levels that ask you to throw an enemy off a platform, grabbing and walking is simply more reliable than trying to knock them off with strikes, which tend to send bodies straight up rather than sideways. In the Arena it is the answer to an opponent who has fallen over: pick them up before they recover.

Use run sparingly. Left Shift and right Shift add real momentum, and momentum added to a connecting hit is devastating. Momentum added to a miss is a free knockdown for the other player. Run when your opponent is already on the floor or clearly committed to their own swing, and walk the rest of the time.

In Arena Mode, play the score, not the fight. Matches go to three points. If you are ahead, there is no prize for a dramatic knockout — back off, stay upright, and let an impatient opponent throw themselves over. Balance is the resource that decides this game, and refusing to spend yours is a legitimate strategy.

Ragdoll Gangs FAQ

Is Ragdoll Gangs unblocked at school?

Yes — it loads in a normal browser tab with no download, plugin or account, so it runs on school Chromebooks and lab computers wherever this site is reachable.

Can two players use one keyboard?

Yes. Player 1 is on W A S D with V, B and C, and Player 2 is on the arrow keys with O, P and I, so both sides fit on a single keyboard. Choose Arena Mode and then two player.

What are the controls?

Player 1: W A S D to move, V punch, B kick, C pick up or throw, left Shift to run. Player 2: arrow keys to move, O punch, P kick, I pick up or throw, right Shift to run. L locks the cursor and P pauses.

Is there a single player mode?

Two of them. Adventure Mode is six solo levels with mixed objectives, and Arena Mode can be played against a CPU opponent that puts up a real fight.

How do you win a match?

In Arena Mode the first player to score three takes the match. Adventure Mode is level by level, with some stages won by knockout and others by throwing the enemy out of the arena.

Does it need a download?

No. Press Play and it streams into the page; nothing is installed on the computer.
