About Pixel Pulling
Pixel Pulling is a rope-pulling race decided over five rounds, and it needs exactly one key per player. Red presses W, blue presses the up arrow, and the rope moves toward whoever is generating more pulls. There is nothing else to learn, which is the point.
It belongs to the same family as Tug of Heads and Tug the Table Classic — games where the whole contest is two people and one button. Five rounds go by fast enough that a rematch is the default outcome.
How to play
Red pulls with the W key, blue pulls with the up arrow key. On a touchscreen, each player taps their coloured button instead. Out-pull your opponent to take a round; the first to win the majority of five rounds takes the match.
Controls
- Red player — W
- Blue player — Up arrow
- Touch buttons on mobile
Tips to win
- Rhythm beats speed — steady alternating presses register more reliably than frantic mashing.
- Watch the rope marker, not your hands; you can feel when you are losing ground.
- Rounds are short, so a bad start is recoverable — do not give up mid-pull.
