About DUO SummerBombs
SummerBombs is hot potato with a countdown attached. One player starts holding the bomb, contact passes it to the other, and whoever is holding it when the timer expires loses the round. That is the entire rule set, and it produces a surprisingly tense chase because the person carrying the bomb has to close distance while the other only has to survive.
Rounds last seconds, which is exactly right for a shared keyboard — nobody waits, and a loss costs nothing but the next restart. It sits alongside Duel of Builders as one of the easier games here to explain in a single sentence.
How to play
One player moves with WASD, the other with the arrow keys. Touch your opponent to hand the bomb over, then run. When the countdown reaches zero, whoever is holding it loses the round. It also works on a touchscreen with on-screen controls.
Controls
- Player 1 — WASD to move
- Player 2 — Arrow keys to move
- Playable on PC and mobile
Tips to win
- Do not chase in a straight line — cut the corner your opponent is heading toward.
- When you are free, keep moving toward open space; corners are where bombs get handed back.
- Pass early. Holding the bomb a bit longer than you need to is how most rounds are lost.
