About Football Legends
Football Legends is the soccer half of the same two-player sports pairing as Basketball Legends: you pick a favourite team, then take it through a tournament where only the winner survives each round. You can play the whole thing solo against the AI, play cooperatively with a friend, or turn on each other — the mode select is the first real decision of the game.
The matches are short and arcade-paced rather than simulation-heavy, so a tournament run fits into the sort of gap where a full football game would not. Control stays with one player at a time, which keeps the two-player games readable instead of turning into a scramble.
How to play
Choose your team, then pick solo, co-op or versus. You control one player on your side at a time — move toward the ball, shoot at the goal, and tackle to win possession back. Win each tie to advance through the tournament bracket. Both key sets are shown on the in-game controls screen.

Tips to win
- Shoot early from the edge of the box; waiting for a clean angle usually just walks the ball into a tackle.
- In versus mode, defend the near post — most goals in arcade football go in at the side you left open.
- Co-op against the AI is the easier way to learn the shooting timing before you play a friend for real.
