About Boxing Random
Boxing Random applies the Random series formula to a boxing ring, and the variations are the entire point. One round you have absurdly long arms, the next the floor is ice, the one after that your punches fire like rockets. You are never fighting the same fight twice, which keeps a mismatched pair of players closer than any real boxing game would.
The goal never changes: land punches on your opponent's head to score, and the first fighter to five takes the match. Everything between those two facts is negotiable, and that is what makes it a rematch game rather than a skill ladder.
How to play
One button each — Player 1 on W, Player 2 on the Up arrow, or box the CPU alone. Your button swings your fighter forward; the head is the scoring target, so the timing of the swing matters far more than how often you press. First to five points wins the bout.
Controls
- Player 1 — W
- Player 2 — Up arrow
- Solo vs CPU supported
Tips to win
- Let the long-arm rounds come to you — reaching first usually means falling over first.
- On ice, tap in short bursts. A held swing turns into an uncontrolled slide across the ring.
- Rocket-punch rounds end fast: score once and then simply stay out of range until the round resets.
