About Boxing Gang Stars
Boxing Gang Stars is a 3D ring fight between deliberately silly characters, and the reason it plays better than it looks is the control layout: each fighter gets three separate punch keys and a dedicated block. Most browser boxing games give you one attack button, so having a real guard turns exchanges into something you can actually read and counter.
It runs as one player against the computer or two players on the same keyboard. Alongside Ragdoll Duel: Boxing and Drunken Boxing it is the most technical of the three.
How to play
Player 1 moves with WASD — or the arrow keys in one-player mode — punches with F, G and T, and blocks with E. Player 2 moves with the arrow keys, punches with K, L and O, and blocks with I. Mix the three punch keys rather than repeating one, and drop the block the instant you see an opening.
Controls
- Player 1 — WASD move (or arrows in 1P), F/G/T punch, E block
- Player 2 — arrow keys move, K/L/O punch, I block
- 1 player versus computer, or 2 players on one keyboard
Tips to win
- Hold block and wait. Most opponents throw themselves out of position within two or three punches.
- Rotate the punch keys — a repeated single punch is the easiest thing in the game to time a block against.
- Blocking costs you nothing but a moment; swinging while out of range costs you the counter.
