About ShooterZ.io

ShooterZ.io is built around rooms rather than matchmaking. You either create a lobby and set it up how you like, or drop into one somebody else has already made, which means you can get a group into the same match without any of them making an account.

Several different environments keep the rounds from blurring together, and the shooting itself is straightforward third-person arena fare — aim, fire, reload, crouch behind something. There is a text chat built in, which in practice is how most of the improvised rules in a private lobby get agreed on.

How to play

Create your own lobby or pick an existing one from the list. Shoot with the left mouse button and aim down sights with the right, press R to reload before a fight rather than during one, and use C to crouch behind cover. Number keys 1 to 9 switch weapons, and T opens the chat.

Tips to win

• Reload the moment a fight ends; an empty magazine loses the next one before it starts.
• Crouching tightens your aim and shrinks your profile — use it whenever you are holding an angle.
• Learn one weapon per environment rather than cycling all nine; the number keys are for emergencies.
