About Rolling Cubes
Rolling Cubes is a spatial puzzle where you never slide the cube — you tip it, one face at a time, across a floating grid. That single rule is what makes it hard: the cube occupies a different orientation after every move, and the tile you need to land on is often two tips away from where intuition says it should be.
Later grids add mechanical hazards and missing tiles, so a route that works geometrically can still fail on timing. Levels are short, restarts are instant, and the answer is always visible if you are willing to plan the whole path before your first move.
How to play
Click the direction you want to tip the cube, or use the arrow keys. The cube rolls exactly one square per input and cannot slide, so plan the whole route before you start — an extra tip early on leaves you facing the wrong way at the far end. Reach the gold key to finish the level.
Controls
- Arrow keys — tip the cube one square
- Mouse click — tip toward the clicked direction
- Touch — tap a direction on mobile
Tips to win
- Count your moves to the key before you make the first one; unplanned tips are how levels get lost.
- Work backwards from the key square — the last two tips are usually forced, which narrows the route.
- When a hazard is on a timer, spend a spare tip against a wall to resynchronise instead of rushing.
