Bricks Breaker is the aim-and-shoot puzzle in its cleanest form. Every brick carries a number, every ball that hits it knocks that number down by one, and the brick disappears when it reaches zero. The question is never how hard you shoot - it is which angle keeps the balls ricocheting inside the stack the longest.

You have to clear every brick to finish a level, and you lose if the bricks reach the bottom of the screen first. With more than 3,000 levels there is always another board to try, and it needs nothing but a mouse or a finger.

How to play

Click in the direction you want to launch the balls, or use the aiming slider, to fire. Balls bounce off walls and bricks, and each hit lowers a brick's number by one until it breaks at zero. Clear every brick before the stack reaches the bottom of the screen.

Tips to win

• Aim at shallow side angles so balls ricochet between the wall and the stack instead of dropping straight back.
• Target the gap under an overhang — balls trapped in a pocket rack up dozens of hits per turn.
• Clear the columns on the outside first; a lopsided stack gives you far better bounce angles.

Bricks Breaker is won by choosing the angle, not by firing more often. Each brick shows a number, every hit lowers it by one, and it breaks at zero. You aim once, launch your balls, and watch them bounce around the board. The game's own advice is to find the aim angle that breaks the maximum number of bricks, so spend your time on the aim and not on rushing the shot.

Aim for long bounces inside the stack. A ball that goes straight up and comes straight back only touches a brick or two. A shot sent at a shallow angle toward a side wall can ricochet between the wall and the bricks and rack up many hits in one turn. Look for gaps that let balls get behind or between bricks, where they keep bouncing.

Watch the bottom of the screen at all times. You lose if the bricks hit the bottom before you clear them, so the lowest row is always your most urgent target. A common mistake is chasing a big high-numbered brick at the top while a small brick creeps down near the line. Clear the danger first, then go for the big scores.

Use the slider when a click is not precise enough. You can click in the direction you want to launch, or use the slider to set the aim. The slider is useful for tiny adjustments when the perfect gap is only a few degrees away. Taking a second to line the shot up is almost always worth it.

Pace yourself across a very long game. The game has more than 3,000 levels, so there is no need to force a perfect board every time. Every level ends only when every brick is cleared, which means a steady player who protects the bottom line will get further than one who takes risky shots.
