About Pixel Sumo
Pixel Sumo is a one-button duel: you and a friend each get a single key, and the entire game is shoving the other wrestler out of the ring. First to five points takes it. The pixel presentation keeps it light, but the physics are unforgiving enough that a badly timed charge sends you over the edge instead.
Games like this are the backbone of the two-player shelf here — nothing to explain, one key to press, and a rematch loop that runs as long as you have a friend next to you. If you like it, Sumo Smash takes the same idea in a different direction.
How to play
Player 1 moves the blue wrestler with W, Player 2 moves the red one with the Up arrow. Press to charge forward into your opponent and knock them out of the ring. First to five points wins. On phones and tablets, tap the red and blue on-screen buttons instead.
Controls
- Player 1 (blue) — W
- Player 2 (red) — Up arrow

Tips to win
- Let the other player charge first, then shove while they are still committed forward.
- Short taps hold the centre; long charges are how people fall out on their own.
- Ring position beats aggression — being nearer the middle wins most even exchanges.
