About Nine, Eight and Snooker

This one is three cue games rather than one: Eight-ball, Nine-ball and Snooker, all on the same 3D table with the same aiming system. It also includes an observer mode and a free table, which is the mode most people actually spend their time in — no rules, no opponent, just the physics and a rack of balls.

Aiming is mouse-driven with keyboard fine-tuning, so it plays quietly and slowly compared with most of the sports shelf. That makes it the natural pick when you want something with no sound and no time pressure, and it pairs well with Billiard Challenge.

How to play

Left-click where you want to aim, then use A and D or the left and right arrow keys to fine-tune the line. Hold the left mouse button to set your power and release to strike. Choose Eight, Nine or Snooker from the menu, or open the free table to practise alone. A second player can take alternate turns on the same machine.
