About Billiard Challenge

Billiard Challenge is single-player pool built as a series of levels rather than a match. Each one names the balls you have to pot and gives you a limited number of attempts to do it, so the game is really about shot selection: which ball opens the table, and which one leaves you nothing.

There are different tables and cues to work through, and no multiplayer at all — your progress depends only on your own precision. It is a calm, quiet game, which makes it one of the better picks here when you need something that plays fine with the sound off.

How to play

Pick a level and wait for the table to load. Aim the cue, set the shot power, and release to hit the cue ball. Pot the balls the level asks for while watching your remaining attempts — run out and you restart the level, so a wasted shot costs more here than in an ordinary game of pool.

Tips to win

• Think one shot ahead: potting a ball that leaves the cue ball snookered is a wasted attempt.
• Use less power than feels right — soft shots stay on the table and keep your position.
• When two balls are potable, take the one that opens up the cluster, not the easy one.
