About Neon Slimes

Neon Slimes is a two-player arena game with one mechanic and no explanation needed: land on top of your opponent. Every hit on their head makes them weaker and smaller, and the goal is to make them fall out of the arena entirely. A double jump gives you the extra bit of air control that turns a lucky landing into a deliberate one.

It is short, loud and immediately readable — you understand the entire game the first time you bounce off somebody, which is what makes it a good pick when you have a friend next to you and about four minutes.

How to play

Both players use the keyboard, with the mouse available in the menus — the in-game control prompts tell you which keys are yours. Get above your opponent and land on their head to shrink and weaken them, using the double jump to adjust your position mid-air. Keep it up until they fall out of the arena.

Tips to win

• Height is everything: never contest an opponent who is already above you, back off and reset.
• Save the second jump for the correction, not the launch — that is what lands the hit.
• Fight near the centre when you are smaller; the edges punish whoever is easier to push.
