About Limax.io

Limax.io takes the arena-growth loop and gives it a twist worth learning: you leave a trail behind you, and rivals die by running into it. So growing is only half the game — the other half is choosing where to lay your line. You start small, hoover up the food orbs around you, and every mouthful makes you bigger and your dash faster.

That makes it more aggressive than the pure snake games on the site like Worms Zone. Sitting still and eating will not get you to the top of the leaderboard; cutting an arc in front of a fast-moving opponent will.

How to play

Steer with the mouse — your slug follows the cursor. Eat the food orbs scattered around the arena to grow bigger and faster. Left click to dash, and use that dash to swing your trail across another player so they crash into it, then eat what is left of them.

Tips to win

• Dash across a rival, not away from one — the trail is your only weapon.
• Bigger means faster here, so early food is worth more than early kills.
• Watch where your own trail sits before you turn; you can box yourself in.
