About Animal Boxing
Animal Boxing puts a roster of animal fighters in the ring and hands you two attack buttons. That constraint is the point — with no combo lists to memorise, every match comes down to reading the opponent, slipping their punch and answering while they recover. Each character has a distinct skill and stat spread, so switching fighters genuinely changes how a match plays.
Matches are quick, the animation is broad and readable, and the whole thing works fine without sound. It is an easy fighting game to hand to someone who normally bounces off the genre.
How to play
Move with the arrow keys and attack with J and K. Watch your opponent wind up, step back out of range, then counter while they are recovering — trading punches head-on is how you lose rounds. Each fighter has a unique skill, so try a few and pick one whose range suits how you play.
Controls
- Arrow keys — move and dodge
- J — attack
- K — attack
Tips to win
- Fight just outside their reach and step in only to punish a miss.
- Alternate J and K rather than mashing one — mixed timing is harder to read.
- If a fighter keeps losing to the same opponent, switch characters; range matchups matter more than reflexes here.
