About Astro Chickens

Astro Chickens is an endless arcade shooter with a sense of humour. You pilot a ship across ten environments while waves of alien chickens sweep down toward you, and every fifth wave puts a boss in your way. Kills pay out coins, coins unlock better ships, and mid-wave power-ups plus your ship special ability are what carry you through the waves that would otherwise overwhelm you.

There is no finish line — the point is how deep you get before the screen fills up. Three difficulty settings mean you can play it as a relaxed shooter or as a genuine test, and the short wave structure makes it easy to stop after any run.

How to play

From the lobby, pick an environment and a ship, then choose Normal, Hard or Insane difficulty and launch. Steer your ship to dodge incoming fire while your guns handle the waves, collect the coins and power-ups that drop mid-wave, and save your special ability for the boss that arrives every fifth wave.

Controls

• Mouse / arrow keys — steer your ship
• Click / Space — fire and trigger the special
• Touch — drag to steer on mobile

Tips to win

• Bank your special ability for boss waves — clearing a normal wave with it is a waste.
• Pick up power-ups even when they force you into traffic; stacked weapons decide how far the run goes.
• Start on Normal to learn the boss patterns, then move up — Insane punishes anyone still learning them.
