About Stickman Hooks
Stickman Hooks is a one-button physics game about rope momentum. Hold to attach to the nearest hook, release to fly, and time the release so your arc carries you to the next anchor point instead of into the obstacle below. It sounds simple and it is — for about four levels, at which point the gaps stop being forgiving.
Because everything runs off a single click or tap, it is one of the easiest games on the site to pick up and one of the hardest to put down. It also plays perfectly with the sound off, which makes it a safe choice on a shared or quiet machine.
How to play
Click and hold (or tap and hold) to fire a rope at the nearest hook, and release to let go. Your speed comes from where in the swing you release: let go at the bottom of the arc for distance, and slightly later for height. Chain hooks together to reach the finish line.
Controls
- Mouse click and hold — attach rope
- Release — let go and fly
- Touch — tap and hold on mobile
Tips to win
- Release at the bottom of your swing for maximum distance — releasing early kills your speed.
- Look at the hook after next, not the one you are on; planning two anchors ahead is the whole skill.
- If a gap seems impossible, you are probably releasing too late and arcing upward instead of forward.
