About Math Squares
Math Squares takes the familiar flip-two-cards memory game and swaps identical pairs for a maths relationship: you match a number with its square, so 7 pairs with 49 rather than with another 7. That one change means you are exercising recall and arithmetic at the same time, and it makes the board far harder to brute-force by memory alone.
The harder boards break the tougher squares down into factor multiplications, which keeps them solvable without a calculator. It is a genuinely useful game to have open during a study break, and it works entirely with a mouse and no sound.
How to play
Click a card to flip it, then click the card you think completes the pair — a number matches with its square, so 6 goes with 36 and 9 goes with 81. Matched pairs stay face up; mismatches flip back, so remember where the numbers you have already seen are sitting. Clear the whole board to finish the level.

Tips to win
- Flip the unknown card first and the card you already remember second — that way a miss still teaches you something.
- Learn the squares up to 12 by sight; past that, the board rewards arithmetic more than memory.
- Work the corners early, they are the easiest positions to remember when the board fills up.
