About Ragdoll Arena 2 Player

Ragdoll Arena packs 14 different challenges into one game, and every one of them is scored the same way: first to three points wins, then you move on. The events range from fruit slicing to hammer challenges, but the wobbly ragdoll physics stay constant, so nothing you learn is ever wasted between modes.

Each event also runs solo against the computer, which is the sensible way to work out what a mode wants before you play it against somebody sitting next to you.

How to play

Player 1 moves with WASD and acts with G, Player 2 moves with the arrow keys and acts with P. Pick an event from the arena menu — the goal differs each time, but the win condition is always three points. Play a friend or take on the computer alone.

Ragdoll Arena 2 Player strategy guide

Two key sets, one action key each. Player 1 moves with W A S D and acts with G; Player 2 moves with the arrow keys and acts with P. Playing solo, you can use either WASD or the arrow keys with G. The action key is jump or shoot depending on which event you are in, which is why a single button covers fourteen different games.

Fourteen events, one win condition. The arena holds 14 challenges — fruit slicing, a hammer challenge, chicken catching, rooftop shooting matches and more — and every one of them is scored the same way: first to three points. Each can be played in 1 player or 2 player mode, so you can learn an event against the computer before playing it against a person.

Three points is very short. Losing the first point matters far more here than in a long game, because there is almost no room to settle into an event you have not played before. This is the practical reason to try each one solo once: arriving at a two-player match already knowing what the mode wants is worth roughly a point on its own.

Ragdoll momentum carries. Across all fourteen events the physics stay constant, and they are wobbly — your character keeps travelling after you stop inputting. Start moving before you need to be somewhere rather than at the moment you need to be there. Nothing you learn about this carries less well between events; it is the one skill shared by all of them.

Coins buy costumes. You earn coins from matches and can customise your character from the shop with new costumes. It is cosmetic rather than competitive, but it gives the solo mode a reason to keep running between two-player sessions.
