About Obby Tsunami Runner
Obby Tsunami Runner takes the obby parkour formula and adds the best motivator in gaming: a wall of water swallowing the course behind you. Climb, jump and dash upward with other players scrambling on the same route — hesitate on a platform and the tsunami settles the matter.
Wins unlock characters and trails (yes, including the meme-famous Tung Tung Tung Sahur), and the multiplayer scramble means every run has neighbors to outclimb, or at least to watch get washed away first.
How to play
Move with WASD, jump with Space, and hold the right mouse button to swing the camera. Keep climbing — the wave forgives nothing stationary. Pick lines with fewer players; crowded jumps cause the pileups the tsunami feasts on.
Controls
- W A S D — move
- Space — jump
- Hold RMB — look around
Tips to win
- Never stop to watch the wave — the glance costs the platform.
- Take the unpopular route: crowds miss jumps and block landings.
- Falling one level is survivable; freezing in place never is.
Obby Tsunami Runner strategy guide
The water is a timer, and timers change what a mistake costs. Obby Tsunami Runner is an obstacle course with a rising tsunami behind you, which means a failed jump is not just a fall — it is time you do not have. That single fact should shape how you play: take the route you can execute reliably rather than the one that looks fastest, because one retry costs more than a dozen slightly slower jumps.
Use the right mouse button to look before you move. Holding the right mouse button lets you look around without changing direction, and it is the most underused control in the game. A two-second look at the next section from a safe platform tells you where the route goes, which saves you from the blind jumps that end most runs. Look while you are standing somewhere safe, not while you are already falling.
Jump from the edge, not from the middle. Space jumps a fixed distance, so every step you take toward the edge before jumping is distance you get for free at the other end. Beginners habitually jump early from the middle of a platform and land short. Walk to the lip, then jump.
W A S D gives you small adjustments in mid-air — use them sparingly. A slight correction while airborne can save a landing, but large mid-air movements usually make things worse by pushing you off the far side. Set up the jump properly on the ground and treat air control as a nudge rather than a steering wheel.
Rhythm beats sprinting. Obby courses reward a steady, repeatable pace far more than bursts of speed. Moving consistently through a section you know, without stopping to hesitate at every gap, keeps you comfortably ahead of the water. Sprinting into a section you do not know is how players end up standing still at a jump they cannot read, which is exactly when the tsunami catches up.
Obby Tsunami Runner FAQ
How do I stop falling short on jumps?
Walk to the edge of the platform before pressing Space. Jumping from the middle wastes the distance you have already got.
What do wins unlock in Obby Tsunami Runner?
Earning wins unlocks new characters and trails, including the legendary Tung Tung Tung Sahur.
Am I running the course alone?
No, it is a multiplayer game, so other players are escaping the same tsunami alongside you and you can compete with friends to see who survives longest.
