About Assault Zone
Assault Zone is a no-nonsense military shooter for the browser: you, a rifle, and a combat zone full of hostiles. The shooting model is simple and readable — crosshair placement and cover discipline matter far more than reflexes, which makes it approachable if twitch shooters usually chew you up.
Missions push you forward through the map at your own pace. Peek, clear an angle, advance, repeat. It's a satisfying loop that runs fine on integrated graphics.
How to play
Move with WASD and shoot with the mouse. Advance through the zone clearing enemies as they appear, using walls and crates as cover. Reload behind cover, not in the open, and check corners before you commit to a push.
Controls
- W A S D — move
- Mouse — aim & fire
- R — reload
- Space — jump
Tips to win
- Fight one angle at a time — backing into open ground exposes you to everyone.
- Short bursts stay accurate; holding the trigger sprays wide.
- Sound matters: if you hear fire, an enemy already sees you — move first, then look.
