How to play

Drag, drop, clear. Block Blaster is played entirely by dragging. Pick up a block, move it over the 8x8 grid and drop it where it fits. Fill a complete row or column and those blocks are eliminated, freeing up space for the next ones. That is the whole rule set, and it takes seconds to learn.

No rotating. The twist that shapes every decision is that blocks cannot be rotated. Each piece has to go on the board exactly as it arrives, which makes the game more challenging and less predictable. You cannot turn a long piece to fit a gap, so the gaps you leave need to suit many different shapes.

Space is your life. An 8x8 grid fills up quickly, and a game only lasts as long as you can keep placing blocks. Judge every placement by how much open room it leaves behind, not just by whether it fits right now. Clearing rows and columns steadily is what keeps the board breathing.

Common mistakes. Beginners often drop pieces wherever they fit first and end up with scattered single holes that no shape can fill.
